ENTERPRISE PRODUCT DESIGN
Enterprise Agreement & Approval Workflow Design
Designing complex supplier agreement and approval workflows using SAP Fiori design patterns and interactive Axure prototypes.
Project Overview
At Vistex, I worked directly with an enterprise retail client to understand and improve complex supplier agreement and approval workflows. I facilitated client workshops, gathered business requirements, and translated those needs into workflow designs and interactive Axure prototypes.
The work focused on making multi-step business processes easier to understand across supplier management, negotiations, agreement details, and approvals.

01. The Challenge
The business processes involved several connected activities, including supplier information, agreement creation, vendor negotiations, exclusions, and approval reviews. Each activity required users to understand the information available to them and determine the next step in the process.
The design challenge was to organize these complex workflows into a clearer experience while supporting the different roles involved.
Design focus
Improve workflow clarity, organize information, and make key actions easier to identify across the agreement and approval process.
02. Client Collaboration & Discovery
I worked directly with the client through a two-day workshop to understand their business processes, requirements, and expectations. We discussed how users handled supplier agreements, negotiations, and approval activities.
After the workshop, I translated the discussions into workflow concepts and initial design recommendations. I typically presented the first round of designs within one week, followed by up to three rounds of revisions based on client feedback.
03. Design Approach
I used SAP Fiori design patterns to create a consistent structure for dashboards, worklists, forms, and approval screens. I organized the experience around the tasks users needed to complete and the information they needed at each stage.
Role-Based Dashboards
Designed dashboard concepts to help users access relevant supplier and agreement information based on their workflow.

Approval Queues & Worklists
Organized approval tasks into structured worklists so users could review pending items and identify the next action.

Agreement Management
Designed agreement screens to organize supplier details, allowance information, exclusions, attachments, and related actions.

Vendor Negotiation
Created screen concepts to support vendor allowance negotiations and the exchange of agreement information between users.
Approval & Review
Designed review screens and status concepts to help users understand agreement details and move through the approval process.

04. Interactive Prototyping
I used Axure to connect the individual screen designs into interactive workflow prototypes. This allowed the client to review how users would move between screens, interact with information, and complete key tasks.
The prototypes also provided a practical way to gather feedback and refine the proposed workflows during design reviews.

05. My Contribution
- Facilitated client workshops and gathered business requirements.
- Analyzed business processes and mapped user workflows.
- Designed dashboards, worklists, agreement screens, and approval experiences.
- Applied SAP Fiori design patterns to the proposed interface concepts.
- Built interactive Axure prototypes for client review.
- Presented design recommendations and incorporated client feedback through revision rounds.
What This Project Demonstrates
This project demonstrates my ability to work directly with business stakeholders, understand complex enterprise processes, and translate requirements into practical workflow designs. It also reflects my experience connecting UX design with business analysis, interaction design, and iterative prototyping.
Turning complex business requirements into clear workflows and usable enterprise experiences.
